U.S. marshals arrest Seattle murder suspect in Federal Way

U.S. marshals arrested a murder suspect in Federal Way Monday morning.

According to the Seattle Police Department, detectives believe the 22-year-old man is responsible for a March 30 double homicide that occurred near Second Avenue South and South Washington in Seattle.

After identifying the suspect on Nov. 29, police sent out the man’s photo and a tip on his location came in from Crime Stoppers, according to Deputy Beatrice Pharr, a spokeswoman with the U.S. Marshals Office.

U.S. marshals followed up with the tip and found him on South 272nd Street as a passenger in a vehicle at about 10 a.m. He was wearing glasses and a wig, Pharr said.

The suspect was arrested “without incident” and was booked into Seattle Correctional Facility at 1:55 p.m. and could face first-degree murder and residential burglary charges.

U.S. marshals arrested the man under the Pacific Northwest Violent Offenders Task Force, which is comprised of different agencies around the nation.
