Federal Way police responded to a call about a pair of thieves who stole a woman’s purse, then emptied her checking and savings accounts while racking up credit card charges.

Robin Pfander had her purse stolen May 25 from Pattison’s West Skating Center in Federal Way, reports said. Two women were caught on surveillance cameras committing the crime. The suspects’ spree swiped about $10,000, reports said.
