• At 9:22 p.m. March 30, police responded to a couple’s dispute at 804 S. 309th Place. The man was not letting his girlfriend come inside the bedroom and the shut the door on her leg. The argument was about the man watching porn on his computer. There was no evidence on the assault.

• At 8:22 p.m. March 30, police answered a rape report that occurred near 30405 Pacific Highway. A woman who called 911 said that she had seen a female being “attacked” by a black man and thought the suspect was trying to rape her. Later the victim and witness were contacted and it was determined that the incident never happened.

• At 7:39 p.m. March 29, a large group of juveniles started a fight inside The Commons mall movie theater at 1901 S. Commons. When police arrived, they saw the group actively fighting and ordered them to vacate the premises. The ones that failed to do so were eventually arrested.

• At 9:48 p.m. March 29, a man was trying to leave his girlfriend’s residence in the 2100 block of SW 352 Street, while she tried to stop him and assaulted him by hitting him. She then picked up a butcher knife and said that she was going to stab him if he attempted to leave, the report said.

• At 9:41 a.m. March 28, a woman’s schizophrenic son had not taken his medication and went into a rage. He shattered items at his home and his mother called the police as she locked herself into the bathroom fearing for her safety. Her son was later involuntarily committed into St. Francis Hospital.

• At 3:51 p.m. March 28 near 4915 SW 319 Lane, a man who had filed his 2007 taxes only received $100 back from the government. Police reported that as he inquired about this issue, he learned that he owed $2,543 from taxes and penalties from the 2005 tax year. The man later found out that someone had used his name and Social Security number to work at a framing business in Roseville, Calif., in 2005.

• At 7:45 p.m. March 28, a theft was reported inside the Starbucks at The Commons mall, 1901 S. Commons. Upon the police’s arrival, a Starbucks employee reported that an unknown person had entered the shop and taken a coffee maker without consent. No sales person was on the floor as the theft occurred, and there were no reliable witnesses.

• At 8:09 a.m. March 27, a woman reported to the police that in the last three weeks, an unknown person had stolen approximately $15,000 in jewelry from her dresser. She said that several kids have been in and out of her house in the 33000 block of 29th Place SW, visiting her daughter in the past week, but was unable to find any suspects at the time.

• At 12:05 a.m. March 26, an employee reported a male urinating inside the Jack in the Box drive-through at 2400 SW 336th St. The male was then placed in custody.

• At 3:30 p.m. March 26, a 10-year-old female student was confronted by an adult male in the park at 1310 SW 325th Place, across the street from her school while waiting for her mom to pick her up. The girl reported that a white man in his 30s approached her, said his name was Bill, and grabbed her leg. The victim said she was able to escape to a nearby friend’s house.
