Parks employees make Federal Way festive

Federal Way’s holiday tree lighting is Saturday, Dec. 4.

Federal Way Parks department employees decked the city’s holiday tree with lights on Nov. 19.

Kick off your festivities this season with Federal Way’s Holiday Tree Lighting from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4.

Celebrations begin with performances from local entertainers throughout the evening with the holiday tree lighting at 4:45 p.m. by Mayor Jim Ferrell.

Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and Sparky the Fire Dog are also attending this year’s holiday event.

The event begins at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Town Square Park (31600 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.).
