    The Thomas Jefferson High School math team won first place in the overall sweepstakes at the Mu Alpha Theta State Math Contest.     The Decatur High School concert choir performed a Bon Voyage concert April 3 before they departed for a national competition in New York City. The National Invitational Festival of Gold is the most exclusive competition held during the International Heritage Music Festival. Twenty-five choirs from high schools throughout the country are invited to compete. The choirs earned spots in the prestigious event by competing at smaller regional competitions.
