The Marine Hills Swim and Tennis Club celebrated its 59th Opening Day Parade on Saturday, May 21.

The sun was shining brightly as cars decorated with balloons and colorful signs marked the opening day parade of families, coaches and swimmers. Opening day festivities included a community barbecue, swimming and games.

Elected officials in attendance included featured coaches, Council President Linda Kochmar, Deputy Mayor Susan Honda, and Council members Jack Dovey and Jack Walsh. And Thomas Jefferson High School band.

The event was organized by the Marine Hills Swim and Tennis Club board members and staff.
