Gunshot victim arrives at St. Francis Hospital | Federal Way crime blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Gunshot: At 3:26 a.m. Feb. 19 in the 2000 block of Southwest Campus Drive, a weapons incident occurred. A victim arrived at St. Francis Hospital with a gunshot wound.

• Deceased person: At 4:20 p.m. Feb. 18 in the 32200 block of Military Road South, police performed a welfare check and found a victim deceased in her apartment.

• Money orders: At 2:59 p.m. Feb. 18 in the 30000 block of 14th Avenue South, a complainant reported she received by mail two money orders in her name from an unknown Oklahoma address. The orders totaled $1,900.

• Fraud: At 10:28 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 200 block of South 360th Street, it was reported that a victim willingly sent thousands of dollars to a person she met on the Internet and had a romantic relationship with. The victim had not met her love interest in person. The suspect claimed to be residing in Nigeria.

• Theft from school: At 9:38 a.m. Feb. 18 at 30611 16th Ave. S., it was reported that between Jan. 5 and Jan. 12 an unknown suspect stole a school-owned camera valued at $500.

• Malicious mischief: At 8:09 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 34200 block of 18th Place South, a victim reported his or her car was keyed sometime during the night.

• Auto theft: At 9:14 p.m. Feb. 19 at 1928 S. Commons, a 1995 Honda was stolen from the mall parking lot.

• Jewelry: At 3:14 p.m. Feb. 19 at 1936 S. Commons, a suspect stole a ring from Kay Jewelers. The retail value of the item is unknown.

• Propane theft: At 4:06 p.m. Feb. 19 at 3420 SW 320th St., it was reported that five propane tanks were stolen from a locked cage at a grocery store. The cage suffered damage. The propane tanks had a retail value of $270.

• Broken window: At 12:17 a.m. Feb. 20 in the 100 block of South 332nd Place, someone threw a rock through an apartment window.
