First monthly Federal Way’s Got Talent competition to be held June 5

Summer competition series open to local performers.

The first monthly Federal Way’s Got Talent contest at the Federal Way Farmers Market will be held the first Saturday in June.

Federal Way’s Got Talent is a summer competition for local singers, bands and other performers to show off their entertainment flair. Each month, a contest will be held and the top talent from each show will be selected to compete in a final contest in September.

Only 18 participant spots are available.

Competitions are set from noon to 1 p.m. June 5, July 3, Aug. 7 and Sept. 4. The winning contestant will win $500 and have an opportunity to perform at the 2021 Taste of Federal Way event Saturday, Sept. 25.

Each performance is limited to six minutes or less. To register, performers must sign up at the Federal Way Farmers Market information booth.

All contestants must be pre-screened in person at the market and submit backing tracks, band layout diagrams and microphone needs in advance if necessary.
