Female flees after robbing Federal Way KeyBank

The suspect handed a note to the teller demanding money before fleeing on foot.

Federal Way police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a KeyBank in Federal Way on Monday morning.

According to Federal Way police Cmdr. Kurt Schwan, a female suspect entered the bank at 1918 SW Campus Drive around 10 a.m. and handed a note to a teller demanding money.

A weapon was implied, but none was actually seen by bank employees.

Schwan said the suspect fled on foot, leaving no reported injuries at the scene.

At this time it is unclear how much money the suspect stole, Schwan said.
