Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Nov. 12: David Pak

TBHS senior is the NPSL 3A singles champion and qualified for the tennis state tournament in spring.

Todd Beamer High School senior David Pak, tennis, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Nov. 12.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: English.

Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Playing/listening to music, playing sports with friends, break dancing.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My dad.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given when it comes to your sport?

A: “Get one more shot in.”

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal?

A: My pre-game ritual involves steady breathing to control my nerves. My favorite post-game meal is any form of noodles.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: “Hills and Valleys” by Tauren Wells.

From the sidelines: TBHS senior David Pak has a 3.98 GPA and is a full time Running Start student. He is also team captain of the tennis team. He is the No. 1 singles player for Todd Beamer. David won the NPSL 3A singles championship and he was awarded as the NPSL 3A Player of the Year. He also placed second at the West Central Districts tournament and qualified for the state tournament to be held in 2022.
