Curves Federal Way to host ‘happy birthday’ 5K

The running and walking route begins at Curves Federal Way Saturday, Sept. 25.

To celebrate 29 years of Curves, the Federal Way location is hosting a 5K run and walk Saturday, Sept. 25.

The cost of $40 and a T-shirt is included if registered by Friday, Sept. 17. Part of the proceeds benefit Federal Way Young Life.

Participants will begin the 5K at 9 a.m. in the Curves Federal Way parking lot, 32020 1st Ave. S. The route follows east on S. 320th Street to 11th Place South near the Safeway grocery store and connecting with the BPA Trail. Participants will exit the BPA Trail at 1st Avenue South and loop back to the Curves parking lot.

Children ages 16 or younger are free and pets are welcome.
