The following is a sample from the Federal Way police public information log:
• At 5:51 p.m. March 16, a man was arrested at The Commons mall after reportedly soliciting sex and harassing several female patrons.
• At 12:44 p.m. March 19, officers entered a home at 2904 S.W. 323rd St. through an unlocked door and found large amounts of marijuana, U.S. currency and scales.
• At 1:57 p.m. March 19, an employee at Linens and Things, 1718 S. 320th St., reported that someone stole a set of gold sheets.
• At 9:50 p.m. March 19, a man reported that while he was in his 1995 Cadillac at 35408 25th Ave. S.W., two males pulled him from the vehicle, beat him and stole his vehicle.
• At 3:38 p.m. March 18, two men reported doing drugs in an apartment at 2500 Gateway Center Place. One of the men suddenly began stabbing himself with an unknown object. He then stabbed his friend with a pencil, cutting his eye and nose. The friend was transported to an Auburn hospital for his injuries and said he did not wish to prosecute his friend.
• At 3:37 p.m. March 18, an officer saw a man throw a piece of gum out of a vehicle near 1300 S. 336th St. The officer pulled the vehicle over and discovered the man had a warrant. The man was arrested.
• At 6:42 p.m. March 18, officers responded to reports of a man stealing a bottle of Tabasco sauce from a restaurant near 31827 Pacific Highway South. The man had a warrant and was arrested.
• At 8:25 a.m. March 17, the school nurse at Federal Way High School, 30611 16th Ave. S., reported to police that a student had come into the nurse’s office complaining of a weird feeling after taking an unknown drug that was possibly ecstasy. Medics responded and evaluated the student for possible overdose. School staff searched the student’s backpack, locker and vehicle and found marijuana and paraphernalia.
• At 12:31 p.m. March 17, a woman reported being raped a month earlier. She said she waited a month to report the rape because now her period was late and she planned on taking a pregnancy test.
• At 12:35 a.m. March 15, three men reportedly stole several cans of Busch beer from a store at 33520 21st Ave. S.W.
• At 11:05 p.m. March 15, a boy reported that he was shot in the face with an Airsoft pellet gun by another boy in his apartment building at 31220 28th Ave. S. After contacting the suspect’s mother, an officer confiscated the pellet gun.
• At 11:08 p.m. March 14, a man reported that a car with four men in it followed him and a friend as they drove. One of the men appeared to be carrying a knife. When they pulled in to their apartment at 1714 S. 282nd Place, the four men got out and asked the man if he was selling drugs or guns.
