Crime blotter: Jan. 26, 2008

The following is a sample from the Federal Way police public information log:

• At 7:18 p.m. Jan. 20, officers responded to reports of a woman who was punched in the head by her boyfriend at 2211 S. Star Lake Road.

• At 10:09 p.m. Jan. 20, officers responded to Terreros Restaurant, 1901 S. Commons, after a waitress there reported that two men were fighting in the restroom. When an officer went into the restroom, he found one man in possession of cocaine in plain view.

• At 12:07 a.m. Jan. 19, a woman reported that someone spray-painted two large penises and two people depicting oral sex on her garage door at 36010 11th Ave. S.W.

• At 12:44 a.m. Jan. 19, officers responded to reports of a fight at 31216 Pacific Highway South. Witnesses said the fight was started by a man who was using racial slurs.

• At 1:34 a.m. Jan. 19, officers responded to the 7-11 at 28719 Military Road S. after a man attempted to rob the store with a gun.

• At 12:51 a.m. Jan. 19, officers responded to a non-fatal shooting at 27906 Pacific Highway South.

• At 6:14 a.m. Jan. 19, officers responded to reports of an eight-month-old child who was found dead. The case is being investigated as a negligent homicide.

• At 10:49 a.m. Jan. 19, a man reported that someone spray-painted diagrams of male and female genitalia on his garage doors at 115 S. 361st Place.

• At 5:45 p.m. Jan. 19, a manager of a store at 31414 Pacific Highway South reported that an employee found a gun in the bushes in the parking lot.

• At 9:57 p.m. Jan. 19, officers responded to Decatur High School where four students where in possession of alcohol at the winter school dance. The four students were released to their parents.

• At 12:01 p.m. Jan. 18, a man reported that someone spray-painted “Move or Else,” on the gate of his property at 506 S.W. 366th St.
