City to establish tourism website

Federal Way has contracted with Seattle firm efelle media to produce a new tourism website, using lodging tax dollars to promote tourism.

Federal Way has contracted with Seattle firm efelle media to produce a new tourism website, using lodging tax dollars to promote tourism.

According to the city, the website will offer a listing of Federal Way’s attractions, events and establishments of potential interest to tourists, including hotels and restaurants.

To be listed on the website, the owners/managers of any interested commercial establishment may submit basic information about their business to Patrick Doherty at patrickd@cityoffederalway.com.

Send information such as the name, address, phone number, website URL and a brief description of goods/services offered. Once included on the website, participating establishments will have access to the site for updates, etc.

Deadline is Nov. 30.
