Two Federal Way Public Schools Board of Directors seats are heading to the general election ballot in November, and two seats are uncontested.

For director District 2, Elizabeth Carlson will challenge incumbent Jennifer Jones, who the board appointed on May 14.

Incumbent Luckisha Phillips will clash with Tenya Magruder for director District 3 seat.

Trudy J. Davis, District 4, and Hiroshi Eto, District 5, are running unopposed.

South King Fire and Rescue

There is one South King Fire and Rescue commissioner seat up for election currently held by William Gates, who is running unopposed for Position 1.

King County Elections closed the five-day candidate filing period at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
