Two people were shot near a Federal Way apartment complex early Wednesday morning.

Just after midnight Nov. 17, officers responded to the Pavilion Apartments near the 1900 block of SW Campus Drive after residents reported hearing sounds of shots fired, according to Cmdr. Casey Jones of Federal Way Police.

On scene, officers found two people — one woman and one man who are both 33 years old — had been shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The people were transported to the hospital.

The suspect was not located, but was possibly associated with a brown van or SUV, Jones said.

Officers are continuing to investigate and are gathering more information. The Federal Way Police Department is committed to finding the suspect, Jones added.
