• At 9:46 p.m. July 7, a woman called 911 to report that she found her 5-year-old son committing a sexual act with her 2-year-old son. When questioned, her 5-year-old said he had learned the behavior at his daycare and that the same acts had been done to him while at daycare.

• At 3:09 p.m. July 9 at 34520 16th Ave. S., a witness at a store saw a male suspect stuffing numerous DVDs down his pants, then go into the bathroom. When store employees tried to prevent him from leaving, the suspect charged at them with what appeared to be a sharp silver object. He continued to fight until police arrested him.

• At 11:57 a.m. July 8 at 120 S.W. 332 St., an apartment manager contacted police to tell them he hadn’t seen a resident of a unit in more than a week. The resident’s employer had contacted the apartment manager inquiring about the resident as well. Police found the resident dead in his car in the garage.

• At 7:26 p.m. July 8 at The Commons mall, a Macy’s security officer observed a female suspect conceal more than $500 worth of merchandise and exit the store. The security officer pursued the suspect outside, where she injured him. The suspect resisted police upon their arrival and was taken into custody after a taser was used on her.

• At 12:53 a.m. July 7 in the Glen Park Apartments area, a taxi driver was held at gunpoint by a male suspect. The driver was ordered to hand over his wallet and phone, which totaled $550. A K-9 unit was unable to track the suspect.

• At 8:57 p.m. July 7 at 1300 S.W. Campus Drive, a woman reported several juveniles ages 7 to 10 were throwing rocks and pine cones in a parking lot. The thrown objects hit the woman’s car, scratching it. The children weren’t contacted by police.

• At 6:23 p.m. July 6 at 28913 15th Place S., a man called police and said he found marijuana plants growing in a wooded area on his property. Officers arrived and found four marijuana plants, each almost 2 feet long, planted in the ground. There were several other plants in a blue cooler nearby.

• At 7:20 a.m. July 3 at 28839 Military Road S., an officer was called to a business where a security alarm had gone off the night before. An officer had responded and found the business secured. But after an employee opened the business, they found a hole in the ceiling and the alarm console torn off the wall. The only thing missing was $14 in change.

• At 11:21 p.m. July 2 at 33800 21 Ave. S.W., an officer observed a suspect holding a victim to the ground. The suspect was yelling at the victim, who was crying. The officer found that the suspect was wanted for arrest for an MIP and possession of graffiti tools and arrested him. The victim was unharmed.

• At 9:44 a.m. July 1 at 29401 Military Road S., a woman contacted police to report that her 21-year-old grandson had apparently left in her blue 2002 Volkswagen with all of his clothes. Upon finding her vehicle gone, the woman checked her grandson’s room and found a letter that said he was taking an adventure to Jesus Christ.

• At 9:50 a.m. June 30 at 5320 S.W. 316th Place, a dog escaped from a residence and attacked a woman’s dog as she was walking it. The woman’s dog suffered life-threatening injuries, and two witnesses that tried to help were bitten. Police managed to detain the aggressive dog, and animal control took it into custody.

• At 12:47 a.m. June 29 at 1400 S. 312th St., an officer observed a person who was clearly irate and throwing rocks at passing vehicles. Once contacted, the man said he had been assaulted by unknown assailants who tried to take his wallet.

• On June 29 at 2714 Pacific Highway S., an LA Fitness location reported that a 42-inch flat screen TV had been stolen from the daycare area. An employee told police the alarm system had been inactive for the past few days, and the emergency door was accidentally left ajar after closing the night before.
