Hi, my name is Rex, and I need a home | Pet of the Week

Rex is a 3-year-old male pit bull terrier, about 60 pounds (A519039). This sweet boy has a ton of energy and would do great in an active household where he will get lots of exercise and playtime. He would also love a home where he can exercise his brain as well. He’s a smart boy who knows how to sit on command and loves to get treats, although he can be a bit grabby. Rex loves getting scratches on his neck and chest! Due to his size and playfulness, Rex would do best in a home with children 12 years and older who can run and play with him. He has a lot of energy! Rex would do best in a home without cats and would need to meet any current dogs in your home before being adopted. He can be loud when he wants attention, so he is better suited for a house rather than an apartment. If you’re looking for a sweet and playful boy to join your family, Rex could be the one for you! Rex is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. His $200 adoption fee also includes a free visit to a veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion. You can find out more about Rex on his Petfinder profile at https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/37331290. You can also meet Rex and other animals available for adoption, in person, seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent, 21615 64th Ave. S.; Monday: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Friday: noon to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: noon to 5 p.m. Call 206-296-PETS, or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
