Federal Way Public Schools hosts jazz festival Dec. 2

Federal Way Public Schools presents its third annual jazz festival from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Illahee Middle School, 36001 First Ave. S.

The event features middle and high school jazz bands and a performance by Seattle-based The Jazz Police.

The schedule is:

• 8-8:25 a.m. Sequoyah Middle School

• 8:25-8:50 a.m. Kilo Middle School

• 8:50-9:15 a.m. Sacajawea Middle School

• 9:15-9:40 a.m. Illahee Middle School

• 9:40-10:05 a.m. Lakota Middle School

• 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Jazz Police

• 12:45-1:10 p.m. Todd Beamer High School

• 1:10-1:35 p.m. Federal Way High School

• 1:35-2:00 p.m. Thomas Jefferson High School

• 2:00-2:25 p.m. Todd Beamer High School

• 2:25-2:50 p.m. Decatur High School
