Thank you, Chief Church, and all the firefighters who gave time and energy on Sunday to beautify Thomas Jefferson High School and Olympic View Elementary School. We appreciate your caring and consistent service to our city, and the selfless way you constantly go “above and beyond” the call of duty. You model for us what responsible citizenry is meant to look like. Rather than complain about your own budget challenges, you reached out to assist another organization (Federal Way School District) facing challenges of its own. Thank you for being an example to the rest of us of what collaborative efforts can produce. We are a better city because of you.
