Need to save our planet

If we don’t solve climate change, all of this will all be a waste of energy.

I don’t know about you but I am tired of seeing all the new gadgets like candy in the candy store. New gadgets can drive your car and give you on screen directions. TVs today are large enough to cover a whole wall. Phones can do almost everything for you but cook your dinner and put you to bed. This is all great except one thing. If we don’t solve climate change, all of this will all be a waste of energy.

In the 1950s and ’60s, this country built the interstate highway system, went to the moon, solved polio, created the GI bill sending millions to college, had a national movement to increase math and science graduates. Why, because there was a need. I don’t think there is a need for new gadgets or larger TVs; there is a need to save our planet.

In my opinion, we need to focus most of our attention on the problem of saving our planet so our grandchildren and great grandchildren will be able to watch TVs as large as a house and have some robot dress them and read their kids bedtime stories.
