Choices have consequences in alleged voyeurism incident

I am saddened by the decision both girls made at the time of the alleged incidents.

The front page of the Federal Way Mirror’s Nov. 16 edition referred to an alleged voyeurism scandal. I was appalled by the front page news report. I am saddened by the decision both girls made at the time of the alleged incidents. Their choices have consequences.

Two years later we have police and prosecutors filing charges, the Federal Way School District involved, Federal Way School Board and lawyers filing lawsuits on behalf of the girls. This article expresses empirical views of all participants in the alleged video voyeurism. The lawsuits seem to be all about money, which will not replace poor decisions.

I trust others can learn from this sad story. I pray for the girls and boys to recognize poor judgement. Where are the parents or guardians? Fortunately most young people do not find themselves involved in these decisions.
