Lonnie McGraw has been selected as branch manager of Washington State Employees Credit Union’s newest branch in Federal Way.

The branch will be known as the credit union’s Dash Point location. McGraw is a seasoned veteran of what the credit union affectionately calls “branch land” with an impressive career in banking and member service.

She joined the credit union in 1990 as a phone receptionist at the Lakewood Branch. In her 26-year career McGraw has been promoted to increasingly responsible positions, most recently as an Assistant Branch Manager at Washington State Employees Credit Union’s Lakewood Branch.

“My favorite thing about working for the credit union is the ability to touch lives and help people through the highs and lows of the financial roller coaster of life,” McGraw said. “We have a staff of knowledgeable, helpful and caring people at the Dash Point Branch and we can’t wait to represent [Washington State Employees Credit Union] in this community.”

The credit union’s new Dash Point Branch is located at 34024 Hoyt Road SW in Federal Way.

Its location is just outside northeast Tacoma, near Dash Point. Operating hours are Mon-Fri. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. McGraw’s team has represented Washington State Employees Credit Union in the community at the Federal Way Farmers Market. McGraw has volunteered with local food banks, at the Lakewood Boys & Girls Club and in her children’s schools.
