BREAKING: Man dead in third Federal Way homicide since Monday

Police are investigating another Federal Way homicide Wednesday morning, the third murder reported this week.
Federal Way police responded to the 1800 block of Southwest 356th Street after reports of shots fired at about 11:10 Tuesday night. Arriving officers found a 30-year-old man from Federal Way who had been shot multiple times. The man was treated by medical personnel but died on-scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and police say there is no obvious motive to the shooting.
Tuesday’s incident marks the third homicide in Federal Way since Monday. A 26-year-old man was found dead of gunshot wounds to his back early Monday, and a 27-year-old man was found dead of gunshot wounds in a vehicle on Monday night.
Federal Way Police Department Chief Andy Hwang will hold a press conference Wednesday morning to update the media and the community on the three current homicide investigations.
