Man wounded in second Federal Way shooting Monday morning

Federal Way police were dispatched to the scene of a second shooting in Federal Way Monday morning.
Medics took a 21-year-old Federal Way man to Harborview Medical Center for the gunshot wound to the chest.
According to police, at about 9 a.m., the victim was riding in a vehicle with several other occupants when a 19-year-old, also an occupant, shot him. Commander Stan McCall with the Federal Way Police Department said it appears to have been accidental.
The shooting occurred in the 3000 block of South 288th Street in Federal Way.
Crime scene investigators continue working to gather evidence.
Earlier this morning, police responded to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of SW Campus Drive. They found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his back who was pronounced dead on-scene.
