Todd Beamer eliminated from first round of state soccer tournament

The Todd Beamer High School boys soccer team’s hopes of a repeat at the state title ended Tuesday with the Titans’ loss to Pasco in the first round of the 4A state tournament.

Pasco defeated Todd Beamer 3-0 at Edgar Brown Stadium in Pasco.

Todd Beamer qualified for state with wins over Emerald Ridge (5-3) and Union (5-4) in district tournament last week. The Titans suffered a second round 2-1 loss to Puyallup in the district tournament.
