Soccer registration extended through Sept. 30

The Federal Way Boys & Girls Club is enrolling all youth for its 2016 co-ed fall season soccer league.

The Federal Way Boys & Girls Club is enrolling all youth for its 2016 co-ed fall season soccer league.

The deadline for early registration runs through Sept. 18, but late registration has been extended through Sept. 30. Late registration is accepted on a space-available basis and costs an additional $5.

Registration can be done online at www.fwbgc.org, in-person at the EX3 Ron Sandwith Teen Center (31453 28th Ave. S.), or by calling 253-681-6514.

Fall Season Soccer is a program for boys and girls in grades K-6. The season runs Sept. 26 through Nov. 12, with practice tentatively scheduled to start the week of Sept. 26. The program costs $30 for K-6th grade (plus $50 current annual club membership fee), but scholarships are available for those who qualify.

Games are played at Steel Lake Park and on the Federal Way Boys & Girls Club soccer field. Games are on Saturdays starting Oct. 8, and practice is during the week.
