Todd Beamer High School’s Nicholas Gunn, boys diving, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for March 2.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Wind ensemble, chemistry

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Jazz band and tennis

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My dive coach, Kelly

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: I listen to Bruno Mars

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Car Radio,” by Twenty One Pilots

Nicholas placed sixth at the WIAA 4A state boys swimming and diving championships Feb. 17 with a score of 361.35. The sophomore also placed second at the West Central District tournament and second at the North Puget Sound League tournament.
