Federal Way High School’s Marcus Eubanks, boys wrestling, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Jan. 26.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Science

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Cross country, track, art, cooking, wrestling

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Dad, Joseph Eubanks

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Calms himself when he gets nervous by reminding himself, “you have done this before.”

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Fantasy,” by Mariah Carey

From the Sideline

“Marcus has had a great wrestling season,” Eagle coach Antonio Brown said. “To date, his only losses have come against teams who placed in the top eight at state last year. He beat the No. 10-ranked wrestler a few weeks ago and is on a tear right now.”
