Federal Way High School’s Josiah Clemans, boys swimming, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Feb. 23.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Accounting

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Woodturning, reading, video games, hiking

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Mom and dad

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Pre-game, I have an omelette with pork and cheese

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: All of Billy Joel’s music

“Josiah has been captain for two years. He is every coach’s dream,” Eagle coach Carla Boone said. “He listens, takes direction and then executes. Every member of the team respects him, not only as an athlete, but as a young man. Josiah surpassed his goal this year by placing in four events at the West Central District meet. Josiah is one student athlete I wish I could clone.”
