Todd Beamer High School’s Kayla Yi, girls golf, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Nov. 17.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Computer science

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: High school bowling team

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My mom because she has always pushes me to try my best

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Go out to eat after a round

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “The Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed),” by Panic! at the Disco

Yi was selected as the Athlete of the Week because she qualified to compete in the 4A girls golf state tournament and received all league first-team honors.
