Federal Way High School’s High School’s Kaitlin Haney, bowling, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 22.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Anatomy and child development

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?

A: Church youth group, work, hanging out with friends and running for fun

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Great-grandpa

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Playing Wii Bowling on match day

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Him and I,” by G-Eazy

“Kaitlin is a great role model for the lady Eagle bowlers,” Eagle coach Sami Isaacs said. “She adds spunk to the team and is well liked by her teammates. She has season-high games of 163 and a career high of 174. She pushes herself to reach her goals, and her dedication to school and the team is something others look up to.”
