Federal Way High School’s Casey Wright, softball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for April 5.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: History with Mrs. Wren.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Softball, reading.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Brother Mark Wright.

Q: Do you have a pre­game/competition ritual or post­game tradition, and what is it?

A: Pre-game: leave jewelry on until right before first pitch.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Let’s Do It Again” by J Boog.

From the sidelines: Federal Way High School junior Casey has had a great start to her season, playing great defense behind the plate. She has helped the Eagles offense and put the team near the top of the NPSL with a 2-1 league record and 6-1 overall record.
