“Claire is arguably the best golfer in the league,” Decatur girls coach Steve Gorringe said. “In her first four matches of the season, she has shot a 38 for nine holes. This last Thursday, she led the Lady Gators in a victory over Federal Way by shooting a season-best 36 and earned her team 27 points. She has been a medalist in every match she has played and is well on her way to becoming the league medalist at districts in two weeks.”
