Athlete of the Week:
Federal Way High School’s Bethany Forward, girls cross country, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Oct. 5.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Accounting.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: Cross country and track, hanging out with friends, on her church planning committee, and work — a lifeguard at Federal Way Community Center.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Parents — very supportive.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: Pre – pray before a run.

From the sideline: Bethany has won all of duel meets this year. She is a great student-athlete who is the hardest worker on the team. She is a four-year varsity athlete and a senior leader.
