Federal Way Mirror Athlete of the Week: Erica Dillard

Thomas Jefferson tennis player Erica Dillard has been chosen as the Federal Way Mirror’s Athlete of the Week for the week of March 13-17.

Dillard has been a doubles machine for the Raiders in 2017, helping Jefferson achieve its 2-0 start to the season.

In the first match of the season against Decatur, a 5-0 win for the Raiders, Dillard teamed with Jefferson’s No. 1 doubles player Ally Peterson. The pair was successful in its season debut with a 6-0, 6-4 win against Rachel Kim and Gia An Nguyen.

In her second outing of the season on March 20 against Auburn, Dillard competed at No. 2 doubles with Michelle Kim. The two were victorious in dominant fashion, beating Ashley Gosser and Maddie Milton 6-0, 6-1.

The Athlete of the Week is sponsored by Eagle Tire and Federal Way Public Schools.
