Decatur athletes commit to play college athletics

Seven Gators signed letters of intent at a ceremony Wednesday.

Decatur High School girls bowling coach and emcee Mike David recognizes one of the seven Gator athletes to sign a letter of commitment to play college athletics on National Signing Day Wednesday at a special event in their honor. Quinzy Salu, from left, will play football with the U.S. Naval Academy; Aubrey Smith will play soccer at Tacoma Community College; and Sydney Victor signed with Pacific Lutheran University to play fastpitch. Kendall Brockman will swim for Oberlin College and Conservatory. Dennis Kozorezov will play soccer at Northwest College, and gridiron teammates Roy Crawford-Taopiu and George Mensah both signed to play football at Eastern Oregon University.
