Federal Way resident Vincent Thompson remained unbeaten during his short professional boxing career June 5 with a win over Rod Criswell at the Renton Community Center.

Thompson defeated the Portland boxer just 1:43 into the first round to improve to 3-0 during his career. Thompson, a heavyweight, last fought April 3 at the “Battle at the Boat 76” at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma. He trains at the Bumblebee Boxing Gym in Seattle.
