Tennis: Thomas Jefferson beats Todd Beamer in season opener

In boys tennis, Thomas Jefferson High School defeated Todd Beamer, 4-1, at their first match of the year on Sept. 8. Scores were as follows:

• Joseph de la Cruz (Beamer) defeated Kainoa Rosa 6-0, 6-1

• James Lee (TJ) defeated Jesse Hoang 6-1, 6-1

• Joe Lee/Makoa Rosa (TJ) defeated Chase Friedrich/Sean O'Bryan 6-3, 6-2

• Kyle Creek/Brandyn Gomez (TJ) defeated Nick Cook/Ryan Wolfe 6-0, 6-1

• Michael Suh/Eric Kim (TJ) defeated Eugene Lee/Jordan Rohrs 6-2, 6-2.
