TJHS grad Lamar Neagle makes debut for Seattle Sounders FC

Lamar Neagle, a Thomas Jefferson High School graduate, went up against one of the best teams in the world. Neagle got some play time for the Seattle Sounders FC in the second half of Saturday’s friendly match against Chelsea FC. Neagle got several touches after coming in for Sounders FC defender Jhon Kennedy Hurtado at the 70th minute of play on July 18 at Qwest Field. More than 65,000 fans came out to watch the game. It was Neagle’s first time playing for the Sounders in a match.
