Federal Way ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME GETS A BOOST

On Aug. 14, the Federal Way Noon Kiwanis Club presented a $1,000 check to Greg Flynn, athletic liaison for the Federal Way School District, to cover the plaque awards for the Federal Way Athletic Hall of Fame. The awards will go to the first group of 15 candidates to be inducted to the Hall of Fame. The 15 nominees will be inducted into the Federal Way Public Schools’ Athletic Hall of Fame during halftime of a football game between Federal Way and Emerald Ridge high schools on Sept. 13.
