After getting rained out a few weeks ago, Federal Way National Little League "officially" kicked off its season Saturday with the program's annual Jamboree at the league's complex under beautiful, sunny skies.

The festivities included the Parade of Players and special recognition of three all-star teams that won District 10 championships last season. The teams were presented with their banners, which will be on display at the complex.

The celebration also featured several dignitaries from the city of Federal Way, King County and state representatives. The day ended with several baseball and fastpitch games.
