Mirror selects All-City golf team

Jefferson junior Brandon Brown, Decatur senior Katie Street and Decatur junior Cailin Magruder lead the All-City golf team after each earned first-team, All-SPSL honors.

The three will be playing in this springŽ’s state golf tournament

Brown returns to state after finishing 12th in the boys SPSL Medalist Tournament.

Street finished third overall it the girls SPSL Medalist Tournament, with Magruder coming in sixth. Decatur junior Julie Eubanks also earned All-City honors after qualifying for state.

Federal Way senior Nick Dahl, Jefferson senior Jamie Nilsen, and DecaturŽ’s Eric Taylor, a sophomore, and Brandon Solomonson, a senior, are all on the boys All-City team after being chosen by coaches to be on the second-team, All-SPSL team.

Joining Street, Magruder and Eubanks on the girls All-City girls team is teammate, Tabi Puetz, a junior who received second-team, All-SPSL honors.

Jefferson junior Emma Insulander is also an All-City selection after receiving second-team, all-league recognition by the leagueŽ’s coaches.

Boys All-City team honorable mention goes to Federal Way sophomore Ben Bergner, Decatur senior Josh Ross, Federal Way senior Terry Bishop and Decatur ninth-grader Brad Reid.

Girls All-City team honorable mention goes to Federal Way senior Rachel Hansen, Jefferson junior Amanda Herrera and Decatur juniors Melissa Audette and Kristina Kincannon.
