"Federal Way halfback Shaun Bodiford ran all over the Curtis Vikings for 131 yards and two touchdowns, but it came down to a missed 26-yard field goal by Curtis that preserved the Eagles' 22-19 road win Friday night.Jay Voss missed the would-be tying field goal wide right with just 26 seconds left in the game. The kids are just trying to give me a heart attack I think. That's our fourth come-from-behind victory, said Federal Way coach John Meagher. We seem to save our best ball for the end.Bodiford's second touchdown, a 41-yard run, provided the winning points for the Eagles. It came on an option pitch from Federal Way quarterback Tui Avaava in the fourth quarter. We'd run that play a couple of times before and Tui ran for eight-10 yards, Meagher said. (On the touchdown run) They sucked in to Tui and he pitched it at the last second. There was nobody there, Shaun turned on the jets and he was gone.Federal Way scored on its first two drives, first on a 5-yard run by Bodiford and then a 1-yard run by Ricky Grundy. With a 15-point lead, the Eagles lost intensity.I think we let up a little. It took us awhile to get going again, Meagher said. Every week we have new lessons to learn because of our past. A lot of things are new to our kids. Being up 15-0 is new to our kids, especially to Curtis.Curtis scored 19 unanswered points to go ahead 19-15. Grundy finished with 35 yards on seven carries. Avaava connected on six of 20 passes for just 39 yards. The Federal Way defense garnered eight sacks, including three by Joe Rutter for a minus-16 yards. Dan Boe and Brandon Keeler had two sacks each and Kevin Nolan had the other. "
