The Thomas Jefferson Raiders moved into second place in the South Puget Sound League North Division with an impressive road win over the Tahoma Bears Saturday, 61-56.
The victory moved the Raiders to 6-2 in league play and trail only Auburn (6-1) in the standings. Jefferson jumped out to a quick 19-15 after the first quarter and held on the rest of the contest.
Senior guard Daryon James led the Raiders with 20 points, Daniel Park ended up with 16 and Deonte Anderson chipped in 12.

Decatur (6-5 overall, 2-2 SPSL 3A) was led by 13 points from senior Kevin Locascio and 13 from Glen Jackson.
Federal Way — The second-ranked Eagles (10-0 overall, 8-0) continued their dominance of the SPSL South with a 70-29 blowout win over Rogers Saturday.
Federal Way jumped out to a 21-4 lead after the first quarter and led 43-13 at halftime.
The Eagles had four players score in double figures, led by the 17 of senior D'Londo Tucker. Brayon Blake and Malik Montoya both finished with 11 points and Adrian Davis had 10 for Federal Way.
