Boys and girls basketball camps in Federal Way

• The Thomas Jefferson High School boys basketball team is hosting a winter basketball clinic on Dec. 20-21 at TJ, 4248 S. 288th St., Auburn. The cost is $25 for one day or $40 for both days. The camp will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days and players must bring their own sack lunch. Payments should be made out to Federal Way Public Schools and sent to Attn: Kyle Templeton, 4248 S. 288th St., Auburn, WA 98001. Registration is also available at the door. • The Todd Beamer High School girls basketball team is hosting the Titan Jingle Ball Camp from 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 20 and 21 at Beamer, 35999 16th Ave. S.

The basketball camp is for grade school boys and girls, along with middle school girls. The camp will include instruction on individual fundamentals, passing, shooting, dribbling, offensive and defensive skills, team strategies and organized game play. The cost is $49 per child and campers can pay at the door. Campers will also receive a T-shirt and a skills evaluation. Contact Beamer head coach Heather Sugg at heyhay91@hotmail.com.
