Federal Way boxer Thompson will fight in Battle at the Boat 79

Federal Way boxer Vincent Thompson (5-0) will face Charles Ellis (6-0-1) in Battle at the Boat 79, slated for 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma.

In his last fight on Aug. 28, Thompson topped Villi Bloomfield in a five-round unanimous decision. The evening was part of the "Fight Night at the Playboy Mansion" promotion sponsored by Brian Halquist Productions.

Other fights on the bill:

• Main event: David Torres (22-1, 13 KO's) vs. Santos Pakau (27-6-1, 10 KO's)

• Co-main event: Lafarrell Bunting (16-3, 16 KO's) vs. Junior Moar (8-2, 2 KO's)

• Rob Diezel (3-1) vs. Marco Candero (1-2)

• Miguel Garcia (2-1-1) vs. Virgil Green (pro debut)

Tickets are available at the Emerald Queen Casino box office or online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets range from $25 to $100.
