The Federal Way United Storm '97 Green team recently won the Snohomish Bigfoot Soccer Tournament. The Federal Way United Storm '97 Green boys soccer team recently won the championship at the Big Foot Soccer Tournament in Snohomish.

The under-13 team went 3-0 in bracket play, only allowing two goals. They then won their semifinal game, 2-0, giving the boys their second shut out for the tournament, which took place Aug. 19-22.

The championship game pitted Federal Way against the Franklin Pierce Soccer Club, '97 Furry. The Federal Way boys won the premier bracket division final game by a score of 3-1, giving them a 5-0 record.

The team is coached by Richard Unsworth and includes Blair Hoefel, Garrett Dahl, Jake Klein, Lukas McIntosh, Cameron Quinn, Paul Aikala,

Quinn Landrud, Cole Hoefel, Jeff Allen, Duncan Fields, Gage Carlson, Nick Hall, Joseph Griffin, Keagan Varden, Justin Yoon, Hunter Covlin and Josh Brotherton.
