Roger Flygare best choice for council

Because of his unique set of qualifications, Roger Flygare is the clear choice for Federal Way City Council Position 6.

Business experience and success: Roger’s companies employ around 70 people throughout the state, and he has wide and effective ties with the small business and legislative communities. His expertise with economic development will help us fill some of the many empty buildings here in Federal Way.

Vision: Roger has a host of creative ideas to bring desirable employers to Federal Way. As a senior, I particularly like his idea of bringing a continuous care center for seniors to the Weyerhaeuser campus. Another part of his vision is to form a local restaurant association that will focus on having a “Taste of Federal Way” dining experience to highlight the rich diversity of our eating establishments.

Commitment to community and country: Roger and his family continue to donate a generous amount of time and financial resources to our area. And when military duty called, he served in Germany and Vietnam. As a fellow veteran, I have attended meetings with him here in our area where he is highly respected, and that is why members of all four branches are supporting him.

If we want someone on the City Council whose sole purpose is to serve our community and nothing else, Roger is our best choice.
