I work at a business in the 30000 block of Pacific Highway South here in Federal Way. We had a situation June 21 in which we had four people drinking in our parking lot.

Not wanting to cause a scene, I called 911 and explained what was happening. I called one more time 20 minutes later, then again to let them know that we had handled the situation. In all, 45 minutes passed and no response. I don’t know about other businesses, but I am disappointed in our 911 response.

Does someone have to die before we wake up?
